The collection consists of central reading files of the SRC from 1949-1971. Contains carbon copies of outgoing correspondence produced by the SRC staff for all but approximately the first five years of the Council's existence. Includes correspondence from Executive Directors George S. Mitchell, Harold C. Fleming, Leslie W. Dunbar, and Paul Anthony; Council Presidents James M. Dabbs, John H. Wheeler, and Raymond Wheeler; and Chairmen of the Executive Committee Rufus E. Clement, John H. Wheeler, and Raymond Wheeler.
